Blueprint for All

Our partnership with Blueprint for All

London Marathon Events started working with Blueprint for All (formerly the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust) in the run-up to the 2018 TCS London Marathon. In keeping with our shared commitment to supporting young people, we launched a groundbreaking design competition for architecture students and recent graduates to design the mile markers on the marathon route.

In 2019, London Marathon Events and Blueprint for All were delighted to host a careers day and welcomed nearly 50 pupils in Years 9 and 10 to learn about careers in architecture. These sessions provided participants with the skills, opportunities and knowledge to build their career aspirations.

We have supported Blueprint for All to raise much-needed funding, and helped to inspire our young architecture students in a range of ways. In 2018, the Blueprint for All Team was awarded the Spirit of the London Marathon Award. These awards celebrate the unique spirit of the world’s greatest marathon and showcased the extraordinary stories of the team.
