Notes:  Hug comes to London as the undisputed best men’s wheelchair racer on the planet after winning an incredible four gold medals at the Tokyo Paralympics. Hug defended his Paralympics marathon title and also won the 800m, 1,500m and 5,000m events, setting a new world record in the 1,500m. He is a two-time London Marathon champion and has won every Abbott World Marathon Major race. Hug was born with spina bifida and grew up on a farm in Pfyn, Thurgau. He started competing aged 10. He is nicknamed the ‘Silver Bullet’ due to the shiny helmet he wears.
