Oldest and youngest participants
The oldest participant in the TCS London Marathon 2022 is 89-year-old Koichi Kitabatake from Japan, who is taking part in the AbbottWMM Wanda Age Group World Rankings Championships.
The youngest runner this year – with a slightly shorter commute – is Alex Horsley from Bournemouth, who will be celebrating his 18th birthday on Sunday 2 October, the day of the 2022 TCS London Marathon. Alex is running for the charity Tourettes Action and has already raised more than £750.
