When will I receive my training top?
One of the benefits of donating your entry fee is that, if you are unsuccessful in the random ballot draw, you still receive an exclusive training top. This will be dispatched shortly after you receive your ballot result and should arrive by the end of Monday 4 April if you entered the ballot for the 2022 TCS London Marathon...
Can I exchange my training top if it’s the wrong size?
Yes. Please return the original in a suitable envelope with FREEPOST – LONDON MARATHON EVENTS written on the front. You can then pop your top in any post box to exchange it – just remember to include a note with your full name, postal address, gender and new size and we’ll send you a replacement within two weeks.

I am now unable to run – what do I do?
If you are now unable to take part in the TCS London Marathon, you can withdraw your place. You may then be eligible to defer your entry to a future edition of the event, depending on the type of entry that you have and your situation – please see our deferred entry page for more information, including how to withdraw.
My friend/family member is now unable to run. Can I use their entry?
Places in the TCS London Marathon are not transferable under any circumstances. Anyone attempting to run using another person’s entry will be disqualified and banned for life from the London Marathon and all other events organised by London Marathon Events Ltd.
What happens to people’s places if they drop out of the TCS London Marathon? Is there a waiting list?
We do not operate a waiting list. The number of entries we accept each year is calculated in the knowledge that a certain percentage of participants will drop out.
I have a place, but will be unable to take part due to being pregnant/postpartum on Marathon Day – what should I do?
If you will be pregnant or postpartum and unable to take part on Marathon Day, you can defer your place a place in the same category in one of the following three years. Please see our deferred entry page for more information, including how to withdraw.
Can I take part in a wheelchair?
Yes, you can take part in approved wheelchairs and racing chairs. A maximum of four assisted wheelchair participants (who need to be assisted/pushed by others) are also allowed on course at the same time, with a maximum total team of four helpers. Can I take part in an exoskeleton?
If you need to use a battery-operated robotic exoskeleton, such as Rewalk, to complete the TCS London Marathon these are now allowed. A maximum of two helpers are also allowed on course at the same time, with a maximum total team of four helpers. Please contact us for more information on this.

When does the virtual 2022 TCS London Marathon take place?
Between 00:00 and 23:59:59 (BST) on Sunday 2 October 2022.
How many places are available?
40,000 places are available in the virtual 2022 TCS London Marathon.
How much does a place cost?
Entry is £28 for UK residents and £35 for international participants. The additional £7 for international entrants is for postage and packaging and covers the costs of two mailings – one pre-event, which consists of two bib numbers to wear on Marathon Day, and one post-event, which consists of the TCS London Marathon finisher’s T-shirt and medal.
Please note that some countries require payment of an additional customs fee on delivery of the finisher medal and T-shirt.
How can I enter the virtual 2022 TCS London Marathon?
General entries for the virtual 2022 TCS London Marathon will open on Tuesday 22 March at tcslondonmarathon.com.

I am unable to complete the virtual TCS London Marathon on Marathon Day for religious reasons. What do I do?
If you’re unable to take part on Sunday 2 October for religious reasons you can complete your 26.2 miles on the next available day – you will just need to upload your result manually rather than via the TCS London Marathon app, which is only available on Event Day.
I cannot complete the virtual TCS London Marathon within 24 hours because I have a disability. What do I do?
