Our review looked at each of our charity partners, taking into account the fill rate achieved in 2022, how many places that charity was rolling over to 2023 and how many other places it held for 2023 (including reallocated places from the cancelled 2020 mass event).

We want to ensure that charities do not hold more places that they can fill next year or pay for places that they are very unlikely to fill in 2023.

All charities affected by our actions will still have more places in the 2023 TCS London Marathon than they filled (ie the number of participants who started) in the 2022 TCS London Marathon.
