One in three people born in the UK today will develop dementia in their lifetimes. It’s the biggest health and social care challenge facing society.
Alzheimer’s Society is working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by helping those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
Your donation can make a positive difference to someone living with Alzheimer's and help raise much-needed awareness. Here’s what your money could do:
- £25 could mean four people receive vital emotional support, practical advice and reassurance from the charity’s Dementia Advisers
- £100 could fund 269 DNA duplicators, helping researchers analyse DNA and giving them larger samples to study
- £500 could fund travel for three people affected by dementia to meet an MP, to tackle key local and national issues
