Sarcoma UK

Every day, 15 people are diagnosed with sarcoma in the UK. That’s about 5,300 people a year.

Sarcomas are uncommon cancers that can affect any part of the body, on the inside or outside, including the muscle, bone, tendons, blood vessels and fatty tissues. There are about 100 different subtypes of sarcoma cancer.

Sarcoma UK funds vital research, offers support and campaigns for better treatments. We are the only cancer charity in the UK focusing on all types of sarcoma. We are now one of the biggest funders of sarcoma research in the UK, having invested £6.8 million in 87 pioneering sarcoma research projects to date. Our mission is to ensure everyone affected by sarcoma receives the best treatment, care, information and support available, and to create the treatments of the future.

  • £1 could cover the cost of 12 texts to our specialised Support Line.
