The Royal British Legion is here to help members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, veterans, and their families.
Last year, our cases increased by 43% to more than 40,000 due to the cost-of-living crisis. Of the grants given, more than 6,500 were for the basic necessities of food and housing.
We strive to help the hardest-hit members of the UK Armed Forces community. And we plan to increase our case working and specialist teams to reach even more people.
Your donation will help us offer expert advice and guidance. Here's what your money could do:
- £15 could buy emergency food for one night, while we prepare more long-term support.
- £30 could pay for one hour of support from an Admiral Nurse, improving the quality of life of a person living with dementia.
- £350 could provide household appliances, such as a fridge, for serving personnel who are struggling to afford these essential items.
- £1,000 could cover utility bill arrears of an Armed Forces family struggling with debt, while our advice service steps in with vital support.
