As part of LME’s commitment to supporting ethnically diverse communities access running opportunities from grassroots to mass participation events, there are a limited number of places allocated to participants from ethnically diverse communities.  

These places are allocated via community groups and running clubs that are working with communities traditionally underrepresented in running – ethnically diverse communities.  
 
The definition of ethnically diverse communities used by London Marathon Events is in-line with the government definition of ethnic minorities.  

If you are part of a community group or running club supporting ethnically diverse individuals to access opportunities in running, you can apply for places on this reserved console on behalf of your community. 

Please note that only one application will be accepted on behalf of your community group.
