Notes: Nikita den Boer caused one of the biggest shocks in recent London Marathon history when she won last year’s Virgin Money London Marathon, getting the better of pre-race favourite Manuela Schär and claiming the biggest title of her career. The win was also a personal best time of 1:40:07. Inspired by her win in London, den Boer’s career has kicked on since and she won a bronze medal in the marathon at the Tokyo Paralympics in a PB of 1:38:16. Den Boer has spina bifida and is an ambassador for the Johan Cruyff Foundation.
