Notes: Alemu Megertu’s biggest win of her career to date was the 2019 Rome Marathon when she finished in 2:22:52. Later that year she lowered her personal best to 2:21:10 when she was second behind Kenya’s Valary Jemeli in the Frankfurt Marathon. She made her Virgin Money London Marathon debut in the elite-only St James’s Park race in 2020, finishing in fifth place.
