Notes: a former world record holder over the half marathon distance, Jepkosgei made the step up to the marathon in style in 2019 when she won the TCS New York City Marathon, getting the better of her compatriot Vivian Cheruiyot in the closing stages. She backed that up with a personal best time of 2:18:40 in Valencia last year when she finished runner-up. Jepkosgei, who was second in the 2018 World Half Marathon Championships, has had a taste of running in London, she was a pacemaker in the 2019 Virgin Money London Marathon.
